Sometimes I dream of being anyone but me
Looking at the strangers face staring back at me
In the dream I am another man
Forgetting all I was forgetting who I am
There is no hill that never ends
It goes and goes up high my friend
And if you make it to the other side
Don’t look back and just be thankful you’re alive
The choices made, all the mistakes, the time I gave
Knowing I’m the one, the one, the one I had to save
And I can’t trust the person staring back me
I’m not the person that everybody sees
There is no hill that never ends
It goes and goes up high my friend
And if you make it to the other side
Don’t look back and just be thankful you’re alive
I look in the mirror and it all just falls apart
When all I see is just a mask playing a part
That mask is mine and I’m smiling through it all
Still holding on because I just can’t let it fall
